Updates and Garden Management

Here we're adding more soil to Bed 3. A tip for people who want a garden at home is to mix compost in with the soil every once in a while to revitalize it. Mix it in so that the nutrients in the soil reach the roots of the plants!

 We are now growing
Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Banana Peppers, Butter Lettuce, Kale, Thai Basil, Sweet Basil, AND Sage!

July 24th A Thank you to Principal Jeff Crawford who was instrumental in the garden being a success by allowing it to be built at Awtrey MS! I also want to thank all the facility manager, of Awtrey MS for allowing us to come on weekends to use the water supply and all the friends and neighbors from the community along with fellow students who volunteered to be a part of my team! I appreciate all of you!  Here are pictures from the beginning as a reminder of how all your efforts made this empty space such a community meeting space where we can all meet!
